Lots of things are going on behind the scenes around here at SDA.  We could not do the gaming we wanted to do today due to the aforementioned Live outage, so we decided it was the day to be productive in other ways.

    I re-mini-launched my other site again today in between calls about why their XBOX wasn't working. Today, I retained my title of Simian Downtime Analyst, with gusto. We were a lot of busy monkies today, lots of monkies.

    "Hi, this is Teh James with Zest, how can I assist you this evening?"
    "Uh.. My XBOX isn't working with your $^@&^ equipment buddy, I demand you swap this out for me now!"
    "Certainly, I can add an additional Internet service to your account to resolve this issue"
    "What? NO! I want you to swap this out"
    "Well, by the time we install your new internet line, the long posted about maintenence outage on the XBOX Live servers will be finished, so it will resolve your issue"
    "What maintenence?"
    "Don't you read your email or xbox messages or lookup information on the official xbox forums and websites?"
    "Yes..."
    "Then you've obviously seen the notices about the upgrades coming in the fall and the pre-maintenence required."
    "Oh, yes yes, that's right...."
    "Okay, we'll be out on Thursday to install your additional internet equipment, thanks for calling have a good night!"
